What do women collect?

What do we desire, cherish, hold onto, and seek out? How or do we display our treasures? What do we archive, privately, inside? What stories do we tell about what we deem precious? What needs do we serve by collecting, and why?

In this wide-ranging presentation Dr. Melinda Barlow, University of Colorado at Boulder, explores the ways women have used art, film, found objects and personal mementos to express various aspects of personal identity.
