Born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT, Hayley Labrum Morrison is an interdisciplinary artist painting and marbling in Austin, TX. Hayley recently created and co-produced “Howdy, Stranger”, (2021) an Austin Studio Tours group show of 40 artists at Perkins&Will in Austin, TX. Hayley created and ran Crit Nites Virtual (2021), an online crit group comprised of 44 artists and 8 moderators local to Austin, and co-produced Crit Nites in-person (2021-). Hayley is the cofounder of concept animals, an Austin-based and artist-run platform connecting artists and showcasing contemporary artwork.
Hayley consistently shows her work across the country. Recent group exhibitions include “Flatfile 2021” at Collar Works in Troy, NY (2021), “Saints & Intermediaries” at Vault Stone Shop in Austin, TX (2020), Austin City Hall’s The People’s Gallery (2020), “Via Crucis” (2020) at Writ & Vision in Provo, UT, and “Night Garden” with Young Space online (2019). Hayley was a Navasota Artist in Residence and held a solo show, “Give Me Place”, at Horlock Gallery in Navasota, TX (2020). Hayley has also collaborated with several fashion and graphic brands on marbled collections (2020-2021) and has been featured in The Exponent II, ArtX Talent, Navasota Examiner, and WTAW Radio.
