Women & Their Work and the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center welcomed artist, writer, and cultural critic, Coco Fusco. This event was presented in conjunction with the exhibition, Photography: A Surrealist Dream Come True, curated by Andrea Inselmann, on view at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center.
Fusco spoke and presented a video of her performance with Guillermo Gómez-Peña, examining cultural stereotypes with a satiric and comical twist.
Fusco has performed throughout the US and in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, England, Australia, and Canada. She has written for The Village Voice, Art in America, and The Nation.
