Members’ Only Curator led tour at Artpace

Join Annette Carlozzi, Austin-based independent curator, at Artpace in SA for a private tour of her current exhibition, After Carolee: Tender and Fierce, on Saturday, June 26 at noon and at 1 pm.  Each tour is limited to 20 guests. After Carolee looks at the potent and really meaningful conversations many young women artists are having now with the legacy of the late, iconic feminist artist, Carolee Schneemann, who participated in Artpace’s international residency program in 1999.  Carlozzi looked statewide at over 100 artists before selecting 14 extraordinary makers who had not yet shown at Artpace; quite a few of these artists have Women & Their Work ties, including Lovie Olivia, Liss LaFleur, Beili Liu and Yuliya Lanina.  The show features recent and brand-new work in all mediums, hung together in a vibrant space of connection and shared questions.
