Fannie Tapper

Women & Their Secrets
Thu Oct 19, 1995 - Sat Nov 25, 1995

Fannie Tapper’s photographs allowed her to “place a veil of black and white abstraction over my own life and remembrances…My hope is that the viewers will give their own meaning to my photographs, seeing in them reflections of their own lives and even intimations of a reality broader than their own.”

Tapper’s work has been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the US and Mexico and is in numerous private collections as well as in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.
