The Gihon Foundation touring collection started by Bette C. Graham, showcased outstanding women artists. In it’s portrayal of the feminine attitude, the collection reflects almost a century of development in American art, from the Impressionist influence in the work of Mary Cassatt to the Modernist pioneer Georgia O’Keeffe.

Featured painting and sculpture spanning a century of American art. Artists included Lynda Benglis, Mary Cassatt, Nancy Chambers, Clyde Connell, Janet Fish, Hermine Ford, Helen Frankenthaler, Nancy Graves, Dorothy Hood, Mary McCleary, Grandma Moses, Louise Nevelson, Georgia O’Keeffe, Gael Z. Stack, and Dee I. Wolff.
