Jessamine Narita

Jessamine Narita is a visionary multidisciplinary artist whose work delves into themes of identity, culture, and transformation. Her art has garnered international acclaim, with pieces featured in prestigious collections and showcased in both group and solo exhibitions nationwide. A graduate of the University of New Mexico with a BAFA in painting (2002), Narita’s artistic journey is deeply rooted in the vibrant high desert landscapes of Santa Fe, which profoundly shaped her creative voice.

In 2023, her dream of opening a gallery came true when she opened Storyteller Fine Art near the Santa Fe plaza. Throughout her career, she has drawn inspiration from trailblazing artists like Georgia O’Keeffe, Frida Kahlo, Helen Frankenthaler, and Emily Mason, blending their influence with her distinct perspective. Having lived and worked in cultural hubs such as Chicago, Tokyo, Santa Fe, Austin, and now San Antonio, Narita continues to push boundaries and redefine artistic expression, making a lasting impact on the contemporary art scene.
