Julie Pelaez
Pelaez combines her conceptual Advertising background with mixed media to create abstract works centered around personal growth and discovery. The observations made are universal, allowing the art to serve as a language and platform to share themes of the human experience we can all relate to. Through symbolism, raw feeling and thoughtful messaging, her art is an empowering tool to elevate interiors while cultivating the personal growth of the people who inhabit them. Julie received her BFA in Advertising Design from The University of Delaware in 2000 and has participated in Solo and Group Exhibitions across the country. She passionately soaks up life and squeezes out color from her studio in Austin, Texas.
