Norah Levine
Norah Levine is a fine artist based in Austin, Texas, known for her dreamlike paintings fusing photography and wax. With over 15 years of portrait photography experience and an educational background in traditional photography, she creates textured works often featuring animals and nature using beeswax, resin, and pigments. Levine’s work is often described as ethereal, featuring themes of wonder and a profound sense of tranquility. Fueled by her deep passion for animal welfare, Levine established the Lifelines Project to promote awareness for animal causes. In her book, Pet Photography, she combines her love for animals and teaching by offering guidance on how to creatively photograph companion animals. Her artwork has been collected and exhibited across the U.S. and in galleries across Texas and New Mexico.
