Philana Oliphant is an East Texas-based artist whose interdisciplinary work includes drawings, sculpture, prints, and installations. She has exhibited her work nationally for thirty years. Recently her installation work appeared in the AMoA 600 Biennial at the Amarillo Museum of Art, New Texas Talent at Craighead Green Gallery in Dallas Texas, and her solo exhibition Wing Load appeared in KSpace Gallery in Corpus Christi Texas. 

She is the recipient of numerous awards, including Women in the Arts from the Women’s Foundation of East Texas, and her work is included in several permanent collections, such as the Artist Printmaker Research Collection at Texas Tech University and the Wichita Falls Museum of Art. 

She lives and works in East Texas, where she shares the forest and a studio with her husband James R Pace, their poet daughter Aza Pace, and three amazing rescued dogs.
