Rachel Zargo’s work illuminates feminine energies through brilliant colors, portraits, scapes and experiments. These manifestations dance between the collective and the individual, playing with the point at which they intersect. Rachel seeks to celebrate deep listening, acceptance, and rebirth through her paintings and mixed media.
Rachel has been a creator for all of her life – from commercial work in advertising, to founding a yoga and music festival outside of Chicago. The culmination of her experiences are illuminated in the collection of Rachel’s work. Her formal training includes studying art at Temple University in Rome and at the Art Institute in Chicago. Contemporary artists’ work and philosophies Rachel is drawn to include those of Amy Sherald, Bo Bartlett, and Deborah Kass.
