Yasmin Youssef
Yasmin Youssef is a mixed media artist, dancer, and user experience designer. She grew up in a multi-ethnic blended family, which has informed her journey through her creative career. Her use of deep layers, texture, symbolism, color and mark-making elicit a sense of wonder in the viewer. These elements combine gracefully with her mediums of collage, cyanotype, paint, plaster, vintage ephemera, and gold leaf. When experienced together, the style, emotions, and themes of Yasmin’s work bring moments of peace and quiet connection to oneself and the natural world.
