Aspiring and emerging collectors welcome! Join us for a conversation in the gallery with gallerist Savannah Diaz, and collectors Natalie Bardagjy and Deborah Hornickel about buying art moderated by arts advocate Jamey Poole. This program will illustrate how and why others build their art collections. Panelists will chat about their path to collecting, highlighting both the personal and routine aspects of purchasing artwork. This program is free and open to the public.

About the panelists:

Jamey Poole is a dedicated arts advocate with over 20 years producing exhibitions, public programs, and publications across the cultural sector.

Natalie Bardagjy works as a Photographer’s Assistant and Stylist. Her interest in art and collecting began with a college history class.

Savannah Diaz is the Managing Director at Ivester Contemporary with nearly 10 years of experience in the arts, spanning nonprofit collections management and commercial gallery work.

Deborah Hornickel spent 30 years in commercial real estate but her love affair with beautiful art began long before her career did. She studied interior design at the University of Texas, which probably explains why you will never find stark white walls in her home!
